CAFOD Big Walk

The Big Lent Walk 2024

As a school community we have been taking on the challenge of walking 1000km during the forty days of Lent to stand in solidarity with communities around the world.

We will walk together as a school community on Wednesday 20th March 2024 when each class will walk 1k on a rota.

If you would like to walk additional amounts at home during Lent, that would be fantastic.  If you do, then please let us know you have done this on [email protected] and the amount of extra kilometres walked so we can add it to our fundraising page.  It would be great to see photographs of the children doing this too, which we can also add to our fundraising page.

We have our own fundraising page through which people can sponsor the school community as we try and put the principles of Catholic Social Teaching into action.

The money we raise by taking part in the Big Lent Walk will enable CAFOD to continue fighting global poverty and enable them to work through expert local partners to bring real life change to communities overseas.
