School Food United - Order (and Pay) for your child's meals
ONLIINE ORDERING SYSTEM FOR
SCHOOL DINNERS IS HERE!
School Food United is the online system for ordering your child's school dinner. You will be required to create an account and link it your child/children - it is very easy to do - just follow the instructions in the links at the bottom of this page.
- Register an Account (School name - just type 'paul' and our school adress will pop up)
- Verify the email before you can use the account
- Add your child/children (use the name we have at school or the system won't recognise this)
- You can now access your account - top up your balance, order your meals, cancel or change your order, view your transaction history.
Once you are registed you can order your child's meals and pay for them (if applicable) - but talk to them each day so they know what to expect at the service counter.
The School Food United system will not allow arrears.
All we ask is that you choose the meal BEFORE 9.10am each day.
FAQ's
What if my child is in Reception/Year 1/ Year 2 and we are entitled to Universal Free School Meals? You must still create an account so that you can order their meal choice. The entitlement is applied to their account and you will not be charged for meals.
What if my child decides at the counter they don't want what has been ordered? The kitchen will provide what has been ordered as parents have already made the choice; the production of the meals has been made to order; dietry requirements are followed and already planned.
I have forgotten to order a meal for my child and missed the deadline of 9.10am. Please inform the office as soon as possible. Your child will be given the safe meal which is Jacket Potato and Beans and Fruit as dessert (allergen controls). If your child would normally pay for their meals, you will be billed for this lunch by school (an invoice via School Spider).
What if my child is entitled for Free School Meals (benefit related)? You must still create an account so that you can order their meal choice. The entitlement is applied to their account and you will not be charged for meals.
What if my child has an allergy but I have not informed the school? Please notify us immediately. We will only be able to offer a safe meal until a special diet form has been completed and menu put in place.
What if my child comes to the service counter at lunch time but has not ordered a meal? Your child will be given the safe meal which is Jacket Potato and Beans and Fruit as dessert (allergen controls). If your child would normally pay for their meals, you will be billed for this lunch by school (an invoice via School Spider).
What if my child is ill and I have forgotten to cancel their meal order? Once the deadline of 9.10am has passed each day, you cannot cancel your order and you will still be charged if the meal has been paid for.
How far in advance can I order meals? You can order meals on any day that the menu is live but don't forget to cancel if your child is going to be absent for any reason or you will be charged if you normally pay.
